While sitting in the office of the parent company( Carousel Collision) of the Underground Clown a gentleman is spotted rocking the UGC Logo skate tee. I was riding the boardwalk one morning in Coney Island and I stopped to talk to a friend when a person walked up to me and asked where I got my Future Legend shirt from. Once I told him I worked for the company he wanted one on the spot. Said he saw Paulie Malignaggi wearing it and was a huge fan. So I made my way to the warehouse grabbed his shirt and the gentleman couldn't be happier. He told me,"you are gonna see a lot of sales from me, you guys have something with this Future Legend and Paulie" I hope so sir.... i hope so.

I was doing my morning bike ride on the boardwalk and saw 2 kids hanging by the end of the ramp(8am) so I rode over to say whats up and let them know about the Underground Clown. To my surprise the skater flips his board over and he's riding on one of our boards. Brought a smile to my face. He was doing some tricks while his friend looked on. In the 80's skateboarding and graffiti were the Mecca of New York and anywhere else there were skateboarders and bombers. Paulie The Magic Man Malignaggi unveils new signature Future Legend shirt during his weigh-in in Las Vegas MGM for his fight vs Jose Cotto on HBO ppv. The shirt caught lots of attention from on lookers and fans were looking to buy it right off Team Malignaggi's backs. Later on that evening Paulie and Cotto slugged it out for 10 rounds as the first card of the night. Paulie Malignaggi came out victorious with a unanimous victory over Cotto. The image of the skateboarder as a rebellious, non-conforming youth has faded in recent years. Certain cities still oppose the building of skateparks in their neighborhoods, for fear of increased crime and drugs in the area. The rift between the old image of skateboarding and a newer one is quite visible: magazines such as Thrasher portray skateboarding as dirty, rebellious, and still firmly tied to punk, while other publications, Transworld Skateboarding as an example, paint a more diverse and controlled picture of skateboarding. Furthermore, as more professional skaters use hip hop, reggae, or hard rock music accompaniment in their videos, many urban youths, hip-hop fans, reggae fans, and hard rock fans are also drawn to skateboarding, further diluting the sport's punk image.
