When bounty hunter Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler) hears his next case is his ex-wife Nicole Hurley (Jennifer Anniston), he's thrilled. He's being paid five thousand dollars to find Nicole and bring her in since she skipped bail. After a short marriage, the couple split on bad terms. Milo is down on his luck, owing gambling debts, and could use the cash. Nicole is a journalist chasing a lead on a murder cover up. Before they know it, the two are on the run for their lives.






My hubby took me to see The Bounty Hunter on a date night. Kudos to him for taking me to a chic-flick :)


I enjoyed this movie, I liked that some of it was set in Atlantic City. I liked seeing certain scenes played out on the boardwalk and in the casino. This movie had its funny bits.




I think Gerard is fantastic, but then again i'm biased. Since seeing him in 300 and P.S. I Love You, i've been a fan. Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler make a cute couple, and as I said, the film had its funny parts. My one problem with it was that it was toooo loooooong. They could have cut out at least thrity minutes of it, and it would have been fine.

All in all, its a cute film and I did enjoy it.

After watching The Bounty Hunter, hubby and I headed off to play pool. It was a nice date night.

P.S. I Love You has everything I enjoy in a movie...romance, love letters...Ireland...Gerard Butler. It's one of my favorites.


Holly is married to Irishman Gerry. But when Gerry dies to illness, Holly is left totally heartbroken. But before Gerry died, he wrote love letters to Holly and planned it so that she would receive them in order. Okay, yes, this is the part of the movie that I started crying. The first letter arrives to Holly on her 30th birthday and the other 9 letters arrive within the next few months. Each letter sends her on a new adventure, it was Gerry's way of helping Holly move on with her life. Each letter finishes with the words...P.S. I Love You.



How sweet is that? The love letters are great, the characters are cast perfectly and there's a perfect mix of humor and romance in this movie.
If you enjoy a good chick flick, one that will make you laugh and cry, check out P.S. I Love You.

If you can promise me anything, promise me that whenever you're sad, or unsure, or you lose complete faith, that you'll try to see yourself through my eyes. Thank you for the honor of being my wife. As far as books go, I'm still reading Inkheart! I know, i've been reading it the entire month of December. I am enjoying it very much, and I have about 150 pages left out of the 563 pages.

I've been battling a nasty cold for a few days now. *ugh* I randomly picked up my copy of The Second Summer of the Sisterhood (Sisterhood of Traveling Pants, Book 2). I just intended to read a few pages of it, but got hooked quickly and have been reading it for a few days now. I'm nearly done with it and my review will be up soon. I read the first one in the series not too long ago and really enjoyed it.





On a different note, I found Gerard, and he does make me feel better. Plus, it's set to a Coldplay song...perfect :)
