The Sunday Salon.com

Happy Sunday Salon everyone. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I haven't gotten much reading done this past week, but hope to get back on track.

Tomorrow I have an author interview with Preetham Grandhi, author of A Circle of Souls. My review of Devil's Cub
by Georgette Heyer will be up on Tuesday.

I'm also re-reading a book called A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckart Tolle. I don't usually read self help books, but after I read this one a few years ago, it really moved me and changed my perspective on certain things. This is my third time reading it, and each time I read it, I find new insight. There's alot of wisdom to be gained from this book.

On a non-blogging note, yesterday we took the children to a park in Upstate New York for a bike ride and picnic. It's one of our favorite spots. We picnicked by the lake and then had a nice walk while the children rode their bikes. It was a very nice day :)

I'll leave you with a little Coldplay :) Enjoy your Sunday. What are you up to?

I know this is very random, but I was listening to Coldplay recently while driving and The Scientist played. Wow. Is there a more beautiful song? Enjoy your weekend everyone, i'll be back on Monday with a book review.

Come up to meet you,

Tell you I'm sorry,

You don't know how lovely you are.

I had to find you,

Tell you I need you,

Tell you I set you apart.

Tell me your secrets,
And ask me your questions,

Oh let's go back to the start.

Runnin' in circles,
Comin' up tails,
Heads on the science apart.

Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part

Nobody said it was easy

No one ever said it would be this hard

Aww take me back to the start.

I was just guessin',
At numbers and figures,
Pullin' the puzzles apart.

Questions of science,
Science and progress,
Do not speak as loud as my heart.

Tell me you love me,
Come back to haunt me,
Oh when I rush to the start.

Runnin' in circles,
Chasin' our tails,
Comin' back as we are.

Nobody said it was easy

Aww It's such a shame for us to part

Nobody said it was easy

No one ever said it would be so hard

I'm goin' back to the start

I'm almost done reading Soup In The City and the author, Kelly Hollingsworth, has kindly agree to grant me a blog interview! I'm very excited about that. Soup In The City is a great read, funny and entertaining. Stay tuned for my review and author interview.
