Integrity, fairness, bravery and patriotism was relinquished to partisan politics. In my opinion, no longer an honorable man.
How can a man of integrity, who was the example of bravery, dedication to his country, a principled and fair man…a very decent human being…how could he have become the monster that he is?
I remember very well how dirty the primaries leading to the 2000 elections were. I remember all the dirty, sleazy attacks that then Presidential hopeful George W. Bush directed towards a man we all perceived to be a decent, just, fair and brave human being…a patriot and a maverick. That did not stop Bush-Rove to attack him and make him look incompetent and not fit to be President.
I even thought at the time that the reason McCain lost the primaries was because he was too decent and unwilling to slither and muddle in that dirty cesspool of politics.
All of that is now gone. The man I once admired…even if I didn’t agree with his political views; became totally corrupt by ideology and partisanship. McCain no longer cares for his country because he places his partisan politics ahead of what is right and just. McCain has systematically erased all of his life-long achievements and his brave service to America by becoming an unpatriotic partisan right wing extremist.
McCain had further strayed so far from his center-right positions that we no longer recognize him. Make no mistake about it…if you place your religion, political affiliation before family or country you are a fanatic and by no stretch of the imagination are you patriotic.
Mr. McCain; we are telling you that we repudiate you as a politician and as a member of the human family…you left America a long time ago to serve the interests of the rich and the WASPHs. You are no patriot and you are no maverick.
