This week has been crazy, to say the least! My mock exams have been going ok, I have another week of them though. In the midst of all my madness, I received a very important email yesterday! UCAS (English CAO) had emailed me, to say something had changed on my application. So, I logged on and saw that I had been invited for an interview, for Fashion Journalism at the London College of Fashion (see my video in the previous post), I am in shock to say the least! I am terribly nervous, yet excited about going over again. I could write a book on how badly I want this course, my life is literally revolving around it. Fingers crossed for me!

Today was a good day for me. I was in top form due to the LCF response and also Lady Gaga's new single 'Born This Way' being released! It was an exciting thing of course, but also sad. She decided to release it today, in memory of her good friend and fashion genius Alexander McQueen. Can you believe it's been a year!? I can't. It's devastating.  It only feels like yesterday that I wrote that blog post, (click here) talking about meeting Emily and Naomi from Skins.. but also the shocking news of McQueen's suicide. His legacy lives on through Sarah Burton however, who is doing a fantastic job at keeping McQueen's legacy and vision alive. Celebrate his life, rather than mourn for it. 

I went shopping after my art exam today with my friend, and I picked up a few bits. I've wanted black, chunky ankle boots for ages and never found a pair that I was entirely happy with, until today! I picked up the most delicious pair of boots in Topshop, on sale - €137 down to €75. I am delighted! They're HUGE so I'll try not to break my neck in them.

I was in need of some sort of diary/journal over the last few weeks, as I find it hard to remember all of my important dates in my head. I picked up this adorable Hello Kitty journal in HMV today, it was €6! The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have the days written on the date sections (Monday, Tuesday etc). Oh well, it's handy and it includes little recipes and tips in between each month!

I have been meaning to stock up on my Soap & Glory products for a while, and when I saw Boots were having a '3 for 2' offer on, I just had to go in! Unfortunately, I only had a tenner left but I bought myself the 'Flake Away' body scrub. I've used it before, and I swear by it. It smells delicious, and the tub is HUGE. It's around €9, but it lasts ages so it's worth it!

As I said, I have another week of mocks coming up, so I'll only be posting and whatnot at the weekend! I hope everyone's week is going well!
