The word of cataract is used to describe reduction of clarity in the lens of the eye.Cataracts develop in connection with increasing age.Generally people who are above age of 50 are more likely to experience this problem.Another important cause of cataract is diabetes.Otherwise children are born with congenital cataracts even if it is very rare.
There are many sypmtoms of cataracts:
*seeing objects double
*sensitivity to bright light
*cloudy vision
*Changes in seeing colors
*Having difficulty when driving car at night
Cataracts do not lead to total loss of sight,but lead to loss of vision level considered as necessary for a person.People who have diabetes or take steroid tablets are more in risk.Those people should be attentive to bright light and wear high quality sun glasses to avoid early cataracts.
How Cataracts can be treated ?
Cataract is not such a desease that has alternative remedies or treatment methods.The Only method that can be used to treat cataracts is surgical operation.
Problems After Cataract Surgery
There are some problems can occur after surgery such as increased pressure, blurring from swelling, inflammation (pain, redness, swelling), and sometimes bleeding. More rare and serious problems are loss of vision, or light flashes. If you have increasing pain or a worsening of vision after surgery, you should contact your eye doctor immediately. With prompt medical attention, almost all problems can be treated.
