Trial Over Potter Lexicon
J. K. Rowling is suing Steven Jan Vander Ark's publisher, RDR Books, for his wanting to publish the Harry Potter Lexicon, an encyclopedia of the wizarding world based on the website. Visit his site here ->Harry Potter Lexicon.org
Now, I'm a huge HP fan. I love the books and the films are great too. The Lexicon site has always been one of my fav HP sites. I don't mind them publishing it, I'd buy a copy for sure. Especially with no more HP books coming out.
JK Rowling has accounced plans to produce her own encyclopedia some day, but who knows when or if that will happen. And Rowling hand wrote and illustrated a 7 copies of The Tales of Beetle The Bard, which Amazon.com bought a copy of for about 4 million dollars....the proceeds went to charity which is great...but I was hoping she'd eventually publish that and make it available for her fans as well.
