You know, I've become a Kathleen Dante fan. It's very unexpected, but it is true.
I really enjoyed this read. It wasn't as steamy as Entangled, it was milder.
I enjoyed Entangled, but Enticed has more story line to it. The first love scene doesn't happen till after page 70. They took thier time and it was romantic. And there's plenty of romantic tension between Jordan and Dillon. It was sweet.
'He'd drawn her attention like a soft melody that teased her ears into listening, dominating her senses with his mere presence, so much that the others in the room faded into faceless blurs-her clairvoyance responding to her interest. His deep-set black eyes had turned dreamy or glittered in slitted response to some thought as he stalked among her artwork. A strong chin, slashing brows, an aristrocatic-almost Roman- nose, high cheekbones, and well formed lips, her fingers itched to trace.'
Agent Dillon Gavin, Lantis' best friend, is taking a mini vacation from work. Lantis and Kiera (from Entangled) are now married and expecting a baby.
Beautiful artist Jordan Kane, meets Dillon at her gallery, and there is an attraction right away, but Jordan is very reserved. She is also blind and a clairvoyant, so she can 'see' with her inner eye. She 'sees' what Dillon looks like and knows how dangerous his line of work is. Jordan lives with her cat, Timothy, and her cousin Dan. Dillon decided he wants to seduce Jordan, but knows he needs to take it slow. Jordans cat Timothy actually has a main part in the story, he's got his own 'character' and personality.
As the story goes on, Lantis and Kiera and also involved in the plot. And Dillon ends up having to protect Jordan from harm. The story does have mystery & suspense to it as well as the romance. There is also magic involved, just like in 'Entangled'.
I'm going to have to get a copy of Dreamwalker, K. Dante's latest novel.
