It's all about the reviews this week:
1. Explain your review format - if you have one. Or maybe your rating system?
Whenever I start reading a book, I begin a post for that book and save it as a draft. As I read the book, I log on and update that post, with details and quotes I may like from the book; this way I don't forget them. Then once I'm done reading, I check the review for spelling errors and tweak it up a bit, then post it live to my blog.
I also like to put a photo of the book, usually with a link to the author and amazon.com. And if there's one available, I will include a youtube video clip.
I usually include a photo and short bio about the author. I like to include info about the book, like how many pages it is, the first line in the book, published date...etc. And I do give the books I read a star rating.
4. Highlight a past review that you are particularly proud of and why the format or structure may have had something to do with it.
These are a few of my reviews that I am very happy with: Stardust, The Virgin's Lover and Practical Magic
I enjoyed these books alot and had fun reviewing them.
