The season is under a week away, which teams impressed in the preseason? (The week in () is what I ranked the team last time).

(1). Green Bay Packers- Aaron Rodgers and the defending champs look sharp. They look to build a dynasty starting on September 8th against the Saints.

(4). New Orleans Saints- Rookie RB Mark Ingram looks good which will be the key to the Saints returning to the Super Bowl.

(2). New England Patriots- I think the Patriots might of set a record for most points in the preseason, but Tom Brady and Chad Ochocinco are going to have to find better chemistry if they want this to work.

(6). San Diego Chargers- Philip Rivers and company looked like they were in midseason form. If Ryan Matthews can get going, this team will be in Indy.

(5). Baltimore Ravens- The addition of Lee Evans will help Joe Flacco get the ball down field, but the Steelers still stand in this teams way of a Super Bowl victory.

(7). Atlanta Falcons- Julio Jones showed glimpses of why Atlanta traded up to get him. That defense needs to play well if they want to beat the NFL's elite.

(9). Pittsburgh Steelers- An "old" defense put on a show against the so-called Dream Team by picking off Michael Vick three times. The offensive line needs to play better if they hope to keep their QB upright and beat Baltimore in week 1.

(3). Philadelphia Eagles- Vince Young went down with a hamstring injury, Mike Vick couldn't stay upright, and the problem at linebacker is worse then I thought. Just a few things that happened that could be a nightmare for the "Dream Team."

(10). New York Jets- Rex Ryan showed some passion in the preseason opener and Plaxicco Burress looks like he never left. A lot of good signs are pointing to the Jets beating out the Patriots in the AFC East.

(11). Dallas Cowboys- Unlike like last years team, the Cowboys look like they can put on a show this season and it starts on the national stage in week 1 against the Jets.

(15). Tampa Bay Buccaneers-  A lot of questions remain for the defense, but I think Josh Freeman will have another monster season.

(13). Houston Texans- Arian Foster's hamstring better heal, because this team is going nowhere fast without him.

(8). Indianapolis Colts- Indy fans got a glimpse of what it would be like without Peyton Manning under center for four games... lets just say it wasn't pretty.

(21). Detroit Lions- Probably the team that impressed me most in the preseason, especially with the way Matthew Stafford dismantled the Patriots secondary. If he can stay healthy and Ndamukong Suh can play well, then this team is on its way to the postseason.

(14). New York Giants- Turnovers were the problem for Eli Manning and the Giants last season. The preseason didn't give me a reason to believe that will change this season.

(19). Chicago Bears- The offensive line looks way better then last season, but that defense did get shredded against the run this preseason.

(12). Kansas City Chiefs- From teams that impressed during the season, to teams that looked horrible. Matt Cassel's injury and Jamaal Charles fumbling problems are two things that have to change if KC wants to challenge the Chargers for the division.

(16). St. Louis Rams- If I was doing a ranking of best QB's of the preseason I would put Sam Bradford #1 because he looks like he will have a breakout season. An 4-0 record may not be a good sign (remember another NFC West team went undefeated in the preseason and failed miserably to win the division).

(25). Tennessee Titans- The re-signing of Chris Johnson and the play of Jake Lockers gives Titans fans a reason to look forward to the future, but not 2011.

(22). Arizona Cardinals- Kevin Kolb showed flashes of greatness and thanks to Larry Fitzgerald, he could be a Pro Bowl QB in 2011.

(17). Minnesota Vikings- Donovan McNabb looked inconsistent this preseason and I don't know what to expect from him in the opener. I do know what to expect from the guy lining up behind him.

(20). Jacksonville Jaguars- Rookie Blaine Gabbert didn't look well with the chances he got which could be bad news if David Garrard goes down because he got banged up in the preseason.

(26). Cleveland Browns- Colt McCoy was very impressive in the preseason, now he just needs some weapons to throw to and a half way decent defense.

(24). San Francisco 49ers- Surprise! Alex Smith was named the starter, lets see if he can actually stay consistent enough to keep his job.

(23). Seattle Seahawks- I bet Pete Carroll wishes he can go back when he said that Tavaris Jackson is his starter, because he has looked terrible.

(18). Oakland Raiders- If this secondary got lit up by guys like Alex Smith and Charlie Whitehurst, then there is no way they will be able to compete with Philip Rivers and the Chargers.

(28). Denver Broncos- Fans will be upset to see #8 taking the field on opening night instead of #15, but Kyle Orton does give this team a better chance to win.

(27). Buffalo Bills- Marcel Dareus and Shawne Merriman showed that the Bills could be a scary defense this season, but it was the Bears.

(29). Miami Dolphins- Head coach Tony Sparano wanted to know why fans were booing Chad Henne? Just look at the tape from the preseason.

(32). Washington Redskins- Rex Grossman seems like he will be the starter after a fair preseason, but I still think this team will be the worst in the league.

(31). Carolina Panthers- The Panthers rolled the dice when they drafted Cam Newton and are now rolling the dice by making him the starter.

(30). Cincinnati Bengals- Can you imagine the look on Mike Brown's face if Carson Palmer show up next week? It would be classic... unlike the Bengals who will be bad this year no matter if Andy Dalton or Palmer are their QB.
