I can't believe that tomorrow is the start of the regular season, but its here. Where will the Saints and the Packers (who open the season) be in the playoffs.
Wild Card Round
(5) Atlanta Falcons at (4) St. Louis Rams: Matt Ryan and Sam Bradford are two of the best young QB's in the league and will display their talents on wild card weekend. The Rams are inexperienced and have not been in the playoffs since 2004, while this would be the Falcons fourth straight winning season. Matt Ryan has preformed well and is entering his fourth season as starter, but is 0-2 in the playoffs. Its time for a playoff victory for Mattie Ice.
Winner: Falcons
(6) Dallas Cowboys at (3) Philadelphia Eagles: After a year of disappointment, the Cowboys seem primed to return to the playoffs with Tony Romo at QB and Rob Ryan as their defensive coordinator. As for the Eagles, this will be an official start to their run to a Super Bowl, which is what they were built to do before the season began. This will be an epic matchup between division rivals, but I give the Eagles the edge.
Winner: Eagles
Divisional Round
(3) Philadelphia Eagles at (2) New Orleans Saints: Two years ago in the playoffs, the Packers and Cardinals set a record for the most points scored in a playoff game, I think this game will break that record. The Eagles are the "dream team" while the Saints are the experienced team. With two of the best QB's in the game, it should be an entertaining matchup, but I give the edge to the Saints.
Winner: Saints
(5) Atlanta Falcons at (1) Green Bay Packers: A year after the Packers beat the Falcons in one of the most one sided wins of all time, Atlanta has a chance for revenge. The Falcons will be improved with Ray Edwards on the defensive line and will not get destroyed like last time, but Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are better then last year.
Winner: Packers
Championship Round
(2) New Orleans Saints at (1) Green Bay Packers: If this is true then tomorrows game is a NFC Championship preview. It is also would be a chance for both of these teams to build a dynasty. They both have great QB's (Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees) and great defenses. This game will be decided by who has the ball last, that will be New Orleans.
Winner: Saints
