Happy Sunday Salon :) It's mid-January and the weather is freezing here. It's that bone chilling cold that makes you want to stay under the covers in the morning. I've been cuddling up on the couch plenty of nights reading and crocheting. 
I'm currently reading The Unbearable Lightness of Being by
Milan Kundera. It's really a great book so far, the writing is sad and beautiful.
For there is nothing heavier than compassion. Not even one's own pain weighs so heavy as the pain one feels with someone, for someone, a pain intensified by the imagination and prolonged by a hundred echoes.
I put aside reading GWTW for the time being, until I finish this book. It's one of those reads that you can't wait to finish what you're doing so you can get back to it.
