This class warfare that the left has unleashed on the wealthy and the corporations deserves our disapproval…here are the reasons why:

The wealthy keeps the economy going, creating jobs and investing their profits.

The wealthy are very patriotic and have great affinity with the idea of DEMOCRACY

The wealthy are generous to a fault, often making contributions to charitable organizations.

The wealthy have expenses also. Take for example Beluga caviar; the going price these days is $170.00 for one ounce…the kind that is eatable. The cost of Dom Perignon champagne varies but it is around $130.00 per bottle.

The wealthy need very much to get away from being cooped up in their Fifth Avenue penthouse and they rely on having a get-away home in the Hamptons…and also they would have a lousy social life if they don’t make it there for the summer.

The poor and the middle class need to tighten their belts, they need to become more industrious, more productive and realize once and for all that this Socialism give-aways by our government is no longer affordable. We can’t keep funding Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Public Education, Regulatory Agencies like the EPA because the rich need those tax cuts, they have to grow and prosper because they are entitled, they deserve their rewards because they work very hard. The middle class and the poor have to take responsibility and share in paying our financial burdens.

Now, all of that above, doesn’t it sound like the broken record the Republican-Teahadists have been repeating forever?

The first about the class wars is not unfounded, but if you really think about that, it was the wealthy who began it by decimating the middle class.

The wealthy keeps the economy going? I am not so sure about that…most of them live abroad most of the time and most of them create jobs…ABROAD!

As for the cost of caviar and champagne…they have a point there. How dare us mere mortals question their conspicuous consumption of those items…why they can’t eat deviled eggs and certainly not bad wine…life is too short to drink bad wine.

As far as their second home in the Hamptons…the poor dears, they have to carry on a social life and New York really sucks in the summer.

Yet, what the Republican-Teahadists are doing is worse than that

Of course, they don’t admit it nor will they say that the class war began with President Reagan and it has snowballed to a crushing avalanche on the middle class and the poor. The wealthy keeps getting obscenely rich and the poor much poorer, I mean, dirt-poor-living under the bridge poor and the middle class has been systematically decimated. If the tax cuts for the rich and the corporations under the premise that it would TRICKLE DOWN have caused a major disruption of our lives and a dismal economic situation; you wouldn’t know it by listening to the Republicans and their pundits. It is not just that they refuse to own it; it is that they want not just more of the same but a hell of a lot more of the same.

Our fragile economy can’t stand any more of this pillage and plunder of its wealth by the very few on top of the food chain; something has to give and I am afraid it is going to have to be the rich and the corporations because the poor and the middle class have nothing more to give, nothing else to lose, nothing to look forward to except a life of semi-slavery and misery. Poverty is no fun and it is particularly disturbing when there is so much wealth. One could understand that in a poor country, a third world one you could see vast amounts of poor people; but not in the greatest nation in the world…it is not in keeping with our values, our expectations and the pursuit of happiness that our Founding Fathers so vehemently wanted for our nation.

Sen. Coburn: “Middle Class Will Be Destroyed”

an e-mail from right wing Newsmax

By Julie Crawshaw

“U.S. Senator Tom Coburn warned Americans this Sunday of an apocalyptic economic future, with Great Depression levels of unemployment and a destruction of the country's middle class.

The Oklahoma Republican told Fox News that unless Washington cuts spending and reduces the national debt, unemployment in the United States could rise dramatically from less than 10 percent today to 18 percent or more.

At the same time, Coburn says the nation's economic output could drop calamitously — by 9 percent. Once that happens, he predicts the middle class could be destroyed.

“I think you’ll see the middle class just destroyed if we don’t do this,” Coburn told Fox News, adding that he hopes President Barack Obama and Congress can work together next year to cut $100 billion to $200 billion as a “down payment” on debt reduction.

Coburn says the other alternative to the debt crisis is equally gloomy: hyperinflation.

"And the people that it will harm the most will be the poorest of the poor, because we'll print money to try to debase our currency and get out of it and what you will see is hyperinflation," Coburn said.

"If we didn't take some pain now, we're going to experience apocalyptic pain, and it's going to be out of our control. The idea should be that we control it," he told Fox.

Coburn, a member of the White House debt-reduction panel who voted in favor of its plan to cut $4 trillion in debt, says the United States must begin practicing austerity within the next three to four years in order to retain international confidence in its economy and currency.

Some conservatives are uncomfortable with the plan, which includes ways to increase both tax revenues and spending cuts.

Coburn disagrees with those economists who believe cutting spending in a weak economy is incorrect.

“My hope is that [Obama] gets out, holds hands with us, and we make some significant cuts,” he said. “There doesn’t have to be a standoff.”

“What there has to be is real leadership and recognizing the serious nature and the urgency of our problem.”

ABC News reports that budgetary measures are part of the reason why economists polled by Reuters think the eurozone economy will slow to a 1.5 percent rate next year, down slightly from 2010's already sluggish 1.7 percent pace.”

In case nobody has told Newsmax or Senator Colburn…the middle class has already been decimated…as a direct result of the actions and ideology of the far right Teahadist Republicans of which both Newsmax and Colburn belong to. It is not breaking news to me and to those millions of us who have lost jobs, homes or loved ones in stupid, unnecessary wars that have bankrupted the country; nor are we in complicity to give tax cuts to the very rich…that will cost our country dearly and that is something the Teahadist-Republicans seem to prefer doing.

What would Senator Colburn have us do? Keep voting for Republicans so that there is total destruction and the oligarchy is solidly established?
