In a study by University of Oklahoma it has been found that strawberry has same effect with cholesterol lowering drugs.The Study in which about 27 obese people participated has shown that cholesterol levels were reduced by 11 percent following eight weeks of strawberry powder supplementation.

Experts say that strawberry should be consumed as fresh to get maximum benefit from it.
