You got screwed without Vaseline
I have expressed my disappointment with the President and with the Democrats as they are behaving in a truly wimp like fashion. I have felt anger and frustration that the “CHANGE” that was supposed to come never came and what little of it did come it was watered down and rendered insignificant by the many concessions and attempts to gain some Republican support which also never came.
I never lost sight of my progressive ideals; I never wavered in my resolve and in my insistence that the country needed some very drastic changes in order to survive as a prosperous nation. I also never forgot that wonderful document which spells out the Founding Father’s vision of what America should be like…it is called “THE CONSTITUTION”
I think that I had said this before: I almost wished that McCain had won because that would have driven America into a deep recession, a lot worse than what we have now and everyone would have become so despondent and disillusioned with Republicans that maybe after McCain we would have a President and a Congress that would be able to really solve the problems that ailed us.
But since we live in a society that values instant retribution, it is so used to having it and having it now, there is very little collective patience…I knew that the mess that took eight years to materialize and a couple of decades in the making would not be able to get fixed so easily. Yet many people actually thought that Barack Obama could actually walk on water and multiply the bread; they thought that he could raise the economy and unemployment from the dead in just 700 days; or because you got yourself so emotionally agitated and mentally watered down by the demagoguery of the Tea Party that you actually bought into the BS line about being "mad as hell" about nothing even remotely coherent.
I never understood how collective amnesia can take a hold of a country other than those who are easily misled by Fox and those hate-spewing talk show assholes are counting on an audience of uneducated, uninformed people who will be easily aroused and would ask for no information about what they got mad about in the first place. That is why I find it incongruous that these people who don’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of would be defending the very rich and those corporations who have been exploiting them, making them poorer and now misleading them.
I you are a Tea bagger you have been royally screwed. Those “news” you have been getting from Fox and those commentaries from Limbaugh and Beck, despite all the false patriotic camouflage and the thinly veiled religious undertones; it is nothing more than rampant racism, homophobia, xenophobia and class warfare…the attempts of the very rich and the corporations to keep the stranglehold they have on the poor and the middle class.
The Teahadists are nothing but useful puppets for the Koch brothers and the corporations. They really don’t give a flying fuck if they screw the middle class and even decimate it. They have no respect for our Constitution and no love for our America. They are traitors of the worst kind.
You will soon find out how the fabulous Tea Party won’t be able to deliver anything of their non-agenda, because it's ridiculous and impossible to service. Just wait until you note how there is no actual shrinking of government, no restoring some bogus sepia-toned idealism that never existed, and no saving of your job. There is, of course, but one GOP agenda: furthering their personal stranglehold on all things power hungry avaricious.
