THE SKIES can’t keep their secret!
They tell it to the hills—
The hills just tell the orchards—
And they the daffodils!
A bird, by chance, that goes that way
Soft overheard the whole.
If I should bribe the little bird,
Who knows but she would tell?
I think I won’t, however,
It’s finer not to know;
If summer were an axiom,
What sorcery had snow?
So keep your secret, Father!
I would not, if I could,
Know what the sapphire fellows do,
In your new-fashioned world!

I took this photo a couple of weekends ago on a family outing to a mountain in Upstate NY. I love how the trees are reflected in the water.
I also wanted to wish my blogging friends in the U.S. a Happy Thanksgiving!!
I am thankful for so many things, including your friendship. Enjoy your day, may it be full of family, friends, many blessings and happy memories.
I won't be posting again till next week. I'll be back with a book review by Monday the latest :O)
