The Republican-Teahadists not only see the writing on the wall, they are frantically out to erase it
I am not one who often says “I told you so”, nor am I inclined to make prophesies but the writing on the wall is not just legible, it is well written, spelled checked and ready for consumption. If it was only this isolated case in a special election I would say that it was a fluke or that the Republicans lost because of a third party candidate spoiling the race and taking away votes from the mainstream Republican candidate. No, it is not just in that ultra-conservative; deep-blood-red district that only elects Republicans…the GOP has problems nationwide with some places more ominous than others like in Wisconsin.
It is clear that the Republican agenda is now devoid of any fronts or pretenses; they are spelling clearly what they want to do to Americans and how they want to screw Americans without Vaseline. It is a pervasive and scorch-earth efforts to end all safety nets, any government provided services and to pile on the debt trillions of dollars that would be just regaled to the very wealthy as well as subsidies to very profitable corporations.
I can tell you that the Republicans are now scrambling frantically to cram through some very radical legislation in those states where they have a Republican Governor and Republican dominated legislatures. It is almost a given as we can see what is happening in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Wisconsin and others. The Republicans have a very brief window of opportunity to cram down our throats legislation that is odious, divisive, costly, racist, undemocratic and unneeded.
It is pathetic but I can tell you that the Republicans have all their ducks lined up in a row and the next one on the cross hairs is EDUCATION. They now know they can’t eliminate Social Security and Medicare but they can fuck up education at the state level in such a way that it will appear that public education is a failure, it has to be dealt with and it has to be privatized. It is in the interest of the Republican-Teahadists to de-fund education, increase class sizes, come down on teachers and reduce their salaries and worst of all they are intent in proving that this idea is SOCIALISM and we have to reject it. Clearly, the Plutocracy that is solidifying now doesn’t want an educated public, they want cheap labor and people who are willing to work out of desperation, doing the most odious jobs for practically no pay…Republican-Tehadists want to turn America into a third world, dirt-poor country.
