I first watched the original 'Halloween' when I was about 12. This film always scares me. So much so that I cannot get near the Michael Myers mask at the costume store.

The way Michael slowly follows his victims, the fact that he is wearing a mask,
the idea that this is all happening on Halloween night, all of it just creeps me out.
Add scary music to the background and you've got one scary movie.
I have seen every sequel to this film and even the re-make, but I still think the original is the best one.
