Boehner's GOP once again voted to defend big oil subsidies Thursday.
That is sacred, it is blasphemy against capitalism, it is totally unacceptable to them.
“GOP congressman Rob Bishop of Utah blasts Democratic efforts to repeal tax subsidies for big oil companies:
“Quit trying to demonize success and create straw men to shift the burden away from the fact that de facto moratoriums, lack of action, foot-dragging, red tape, galatial speed by this administration is what is causing our problems,” Bishop said.”
So, let us all send them a collective letter of apology…apologizing is what Republicans do best when it comes to oil interests…not so much for decimating the middle class…if there are jobs lost…well, “so be it”
How could we possibly forget that courageous Texas Congressman who apologized on the floor of the Congress for the Obama administration having “shaken them down” for their benign and harmless BP Oil Spill?
Meanwhile the astronomical profits of the big oil companies continue to go into the stratosphere while the subsidies our country gives them remain untouched…Last quarter, Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Shell earned about $25 billion. They don't need subsidies! go figure.
