The War of the Worlds by
H. G. Wells
I am reading The War of the Worlds for free a little bit every day courtesy of a great site called Daily Lit
All you do is register, find a book you want to read, then subscribe to it. Daily Lit will email you the book in installments, so you can read a bit each day, at whatever time you schedule. It's very convenient!
I know this book is waaaaay different from what I usually read, i'm doing it as part of the sci-fi experience and enjoying it!
