Weekly Geeks is back! What a great way to remember Dewey.

For those who have been with the group, either from the start or joined within recent months, what does being a member mean to you? What do you enjoy about the group? What are some of your more memorable Weekly Geeks that we might could do again? What could be improved as we continue the legacy that Dewey gave us?

For those just joining us, why did you sign up for Weekly Geeks? What would you like to see here?

Weekly Geeks was always fun. Some of my favorite WG's posts were:

(These are linked to my posts)

1. Photos Week: Decide what to illustrate and start taking photos: Most of you are book bloggers, so you may want to post photos of your favorite reading spot, your TBR pile(s), your local book store, your favorite librarian, your child reading, etc.

2. Post Author Photos: But don’t put words/names with your photos. Ask your readers to guess your answers!

3. To take close-up photos of book covers and see if our readers can guess which books they are.

4. fun facts about authors: Post your fun facts list in your blog, maybe with a photo of the writer, a collage of his or her books, whatever you want.

5. A Quote a Day: You may want to come up with a theme, such as favorite passages from books, author quotes, political quotes, quotes about books or reading, humorous quotes, whatever.

As you can see, WG was always a fun time :) I met many nice bloggers through WG and will continue to play along. I'd enjoy doing any of the above again.
