What almost everyone does after getting up is to drink a cup of coffee and start the day this way. Recent researches point out that coffee is primary source of antioxidants.In spite of this we can not say that coffee is always good for health. Coffee has several negative health effects, and it obviously causes an addiction.


For pregnant women expecting a baby,drinking more than one cup of coffee may cause significant effects on the fetus. Some studies that have been done in this field have found that taking more caffeine is directly effecting the risk of miscarriage. The British Medical Journal's researches show that one cup of coffee or more may result in lower birth weight. Liver loses it's effectiveness because enzymes in the liver break down the Coffee.Other side effect of the coffee is hallucinations! Extreme intake in those who already have some problems such as anxiety or depression can result in more anxiety, fatigue and depression.

Drinking coffe in the morning may result in abrupt increase in cortisol, a stress-related hormone that gradually builds up throughout the morning so that it helps us perform routine tasks. İn particular,when we drink coffee throuhgout the day it is going to keep our cortisol and adrenaline at high levels and it can ruin our sleep cycles.

İf you can moderate intake of coffee by limiting yourself to one or two cups in the morning,you will not experience any of problems.
