Everywhere in America there is a concerted effort by the GOP to disenfranchise minority voters and those likely to vote for Democrats in the 2012 election.
It is systematic, it is pervasive and it is evil…it goes against the very concept of the democratic process where we should as a whole encourage people to vote and make it easier, more convenient and less complicated.
But no, that is not what is in the GOP agenda…they are doing just the opposite by redistricting, by enacting new rules on eligibility, by demanding documents of identification a lot of people just don’t have and by shortening the time for registration to vote. The Teabagger-Republicans have gone as far as eliminating early voting and the onslaught continues on this attack on this fine experiment we’ve had in America that our Founding Fathers regaled us with.
The thing I find indignant is that the Teabagger-Republicans boast of being patriotic, loving America and freedom…but this attack on voting is neither…it is downright treason!
