Unlike basketball and baseball, each player in the NFL has a different assignment so its hard to say if a player that plays QB is better then a player that plays WR. So lets rank the top 10 players at every position, starting with one of the most under rated position in the NFL, cornerback.

10. Joe Haden- Despite being only being a second year player (and playing for the Browns) Haden has become one of the most dominating young CB's in the NFL. Ever since the Browns selected him sixth overall in the 2010 draft, Haden has racked up 64 tackles, 1 sack, and six interceptions. If not for Ndamukong Suh, Haden would of been the Defensive Rookie of the Year. Haden also finished fifth in the league in interceptions in 2010 with six just one behind All-Pro Troy Polamalu.

9. Ike Taylor- Being in a secondary with Troy Polomalu could overshadow your talents, but Taylor is a nice compliment. Taylor also has the most Super Bowls then any other CB on our list. Even though Taylor has never had a season with more then three interceptions in a season, he does have 11 in his career with one touchdown. Taylor also helps the Steelers "Bilzburgh" defense be so dynamic (James Harrison, Polomalu, and Taylor.

8. Champ Bailey- Thanks to the young CB talent that has hit the league, Bailey is pretty low considering the career he has had. Bailey might be one of the oldest players on this list, but he is also the only one who is a sure fire first ballot Hall of Famer. Bailey has had a storied career going to 10 Pro Bowls and being a six time All-Pro with the Broncos and Redskins. The only thing missing from Bailey's career is a Super Bowl ring and unless he gets traded, I'm afraid its going to stay like that.

7. Antrel Rolle- When Rolle was with the Cardinals, I remember watching San Fran-Arizona games and always praying, "don't throw it to #21." Now that he is with the Giants, I am glad the 49ers don't have to play this guy twice a year now because he is such a dynamic player. Rolle can play bump and run coverage against almost any receiver or drop back and cover in the zone. Thanks to his talents, Rolle has racked up 422 tackles, two sacks, and 13 interceptions in his career so far. Rolle has also been to two Pro Bowls and was a All-Pro in 2010 with the Cardinals.

6. Charles Woodson- Probably one of the most fiercest competitors in the league, Woodson is one of the best to ever play the position. After a career with the Raiders that included controversial calls and getting blown out in a Super Bowl, Woodson signed with the Packers in 2006 and in 2010 finally reached the pinnacle of the NFL. While helping the Packers bring the Vince Lombardi trophy home, Woodson had 76 tackles, two interceptions, and five forced fumbles. Even though Woodson was injured during Super Bowl XLV, he provided leadership on the sidelines that helped the Packers win. A ring only adds to all of Woodson's accolades (which includes seven Pro Bowls and three first team All-Pro selections).

5. Devin McCourty- Like I mentioned earlier, the league is full of young talented CB's and McCourty is no exception. Unlike Haden who was selected in the same draft, McCourty has been to Hawaii and was a first team All-Pro in 2010. Also in 2010, McCourty was the only other player then Ndamukong Suh to get votes for the Defensive Player of the Year. Part of McCourty's success has to be attributed to coach Bill Bellichick, but there are some things you can't coach. In his career, McCourty has had 82 tackles, 17 pass deflection, and seven interceptions.

4. Antonio Cromartie- Once a leader on So Cal's defense, Cromartie is now part of a duo that includes fellow CB Darelle Revis with the Jets. Even though Cromartie will be probably be known more for his 109 yard touchdown then his covering skills, this guy is a heck of a corner. He is probably the only CB who is has ever gotten under Peyton Manning's skin as he intercepted the ball three times in a game against Indy (the most one guy has ever pick off Manning). Including bothering Manning, Cromartie has also earned 207 tackles, 18 interceptions, and 58 passes defended.

3. Asante Samuel- For those of you who want to become a great CB someday, follow Samuel because he has become one of the best in the league. One of the best things about it, Samuel was selected in the fourth round of the draft by the Patriots and seems to play with a chip on his shoulder. Samuel has gone on to win two Super Bowls, has been selected to four Pro Bowls, and is a two time first team All-Pro. In only his third year as a Eagle, Samuel had nine picks tying him for the most interceptions in a season. All together, Samuel has 333 tackles and 42 interceptions (four of which were returned for touchdowns).

2. Nnadmi Asomugha- Words cannot describe how great of a cover man this guy is. Despite playing with one of the worst team in the league, Asomugha has managed to have a great career. In 2008, QB's that threw towards Asomugha were just 8-19 on the All-Pro CB and only two players (Tony Gonzalez and Randy Moss) caught more then one pass on him. Asomugha also was voted to his first Pro Bowl in 2008 (one of three appearances) on top of being a two time first team All-Pro selection. Despite only having 11 interceptions, Asomugha also has 54 passes defended and 272 tackles. To put it lightly, it would be insane for the Raiders to let a player of this caliber go.

1. Darrelle Revis- In only his fifth season, Revis has the potential to be the best CB of all time. Revis was already a good corner before the Rex Ryan era began, having five interceptions in his first two seasons, but Ryan helped Revis become the best corner in the NFL. The anchor of the best defense in the NFL, Revis has had 231 tackles, 14 interceptions, and 74 passes defended with his career with the Jets. In 2009, Revis had what our #6 CB said that he had the best season for a corner in NFL history. Revis is also a three time Pro Bowl selection and a two time All-Pro selection. Ask any WR in the NFL and Revis island is the most lonely island in NFL history.
