My son has a copy of this book and he really likes it. It's got a little bit of everything in it. There's all kind of interesting sections in this book....like coin tricks, the origin of words, poems every boy should know, how to juggle, how to play chess, famous battles, baseballs most valuable players, Shakespeare, and how to build a treehouse just to name a few. There's a chapter that teaches you how to play poker and section on First Aid.
There's also section about how to act around girls...lol.
'Be careful with humor. It is very common for boys to try to impress girls with a string of jokes, each one more desperate than the last. One joke, perhaps, and then a long silence while she talks about herself....'
It even ends with a list of 'Books every boy should read'...included on the list are the Harry Potter series, Grimm's Fairy Tales, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the James Bonds books and Enders Game.
Let's not forget The Daring Book for Girls as well.
