Macho as he is, Nick Romeo turns out to be the nurturing one in the relationship...every woman’s fantasy male--tall, dark, handsome, rich AND he loves to cook and clean.

Twenty something, successful business woman Rosalie Ronaldi lives in an apartment in New York with her dog Dave. Rich bachelor Nick Romeo owns a succesful chain of car dealerships in the city.

Rosalie comes from an Italian family, with a mom who is waiting for her to get married and have kids already. When she has car trouble and meets Nick, he doesn't tell her that he is the Nick Romeo, successful bachelor. Rosalie just thinks he works at the car dealership.

Nick is good looking and rich and there's an instant attraction between the two. Soon enough Nick is taking care of Rosalie while she is sick, he even cooks and cleans for her. Which is hard for Rosalie to accept, being that she is independant and doesn't like to take help from anyone, especially a man.

But Nick is keeping something from Rosalie and he knows he needs to tell her soon. Three months into the relationship, when everything is going perfectly, Nick does tell her what he's been keeping from her. He hopes he and Rosalie can keep the good thing they've got going and that she will be able to forgive him for keeping a secret.

I found Romeo, Romeo to be a funny and romantic read.
Read the first lines, and you will see what I mean.

Rosalie Ronaldi made a successful escape from the insane asylum. Okay, so it wasn’t a real asylum; it was her parents’ Bay Ridge home. But most days, it could pass for the Sicilian version of Bellevue. She pulled on her coat as the storm door snicked closed behind her, took a deep breath of cold early January air, and ran for the solace of her car.

The plot is interesting and the characters likeable. I liked Nick
and the romance and connection between he and Rosalie was believeable. Rosalie's character did annoy me at times. I think because she was so stubborn, even about simple things like going to the hospital when she was real sick.

If you're looking for a fun, light read, pick this one up! I was hooked from page one.

Her heart felt as if it were going to break out of her rib cage, and she couldn't catch her breath. Nick wasn't doing any better in the breathing department. She wondered if a person could die of orgasmic bliss. Maybe they should call 911.

about the author:

Robin Kaye was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge next door to her Sicilian grandparents. Living with an extended family that’s a cross between Gilligan’s Island and The Sopranos, minus the desert isle and illegal activities, explains both her comedic timing and the cast of quirky characters in her books.

She’s lived in half a dozen states from Idaho to Florida, but the romance of Brooklyn has never left her heart. She currently resides in Maryland with her husband, three children, two dogs, and a three-legged cat with attitude
