While the awards handed out in the NFL isn't as flashy as the Oscars, it is still interesting to pick who will win what. Lets start with MVP.

Most Valuable Player
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers- Last season we watched as Rodgers escaped the shadow of #4 and won a Super Bowl as well as the games MVP. To say that Rodgers will be even better this season may shock some people, until you look at their IR list from last season. Rodgers will get back TE Jermichael Finley and RB Ryan Grant in an already explosive offense. Rodgers threw for 3,922 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions last season. I expect Rodgers' numbers to be something like 4,000 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in 2011. That would truly be MVP worthy if my predictions are correct.

Offensive Player of the Year
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick- If Vick is just half as good as he was last year, then the Eagles will win the Super Bowl. Vick threw for 21 touchdowns, six interceptions, and 3018 yards in 2010, while also starting only 12 games. While Vick does have injury risks, what player doesn't? This is football and last year Vick was the best at the leagues most important position. To me, the offensive player of the year award won't be the most valuable thing he wins in 2011.

Defensive Player of the Year
Detroit Lions DT Ndamukong Suh- Last season Suh broke out on the scene by winning defensive rookie of the year honors and 2011 could be another great year. While some call Suh's game "dirty," I call it classic football. A defensive linemen is meant to take down the opposing QB by any means necessary and Suh didplenty of that in 2010 when he had 10 sacks. Suh's best game last season was against the Redskins when he had two sacks while also getting QB Donovan McNabb benched. Now that is a force on the defensive line.

Offensive Rookie of the Year
Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones- Many were shocked when the Falcons traded up so high to draft the WR from Alabama, but when you look at Jones' skill set, you understand why the front office made the move. The Falcons lacked a deep passing game last season and it showed in their loss against the Packers in the divisional round of the playoffs. Jones gives them that deep threat while also dragging the defenses attention away from Roddy White.

Defensive Rookie of the Year
Denver Broncos OLB Von Miller- Previous to this years draft, many considered Miller to be the best athlete available, that is why the Broncos selected him second overall. The Broncos struggled at defense a lot last year and some of it had to do with Elvis Dumervill missing a lot of time and the lack of pressure on the QB came with that. Miller and Dumervill will help bring back some respectability in 2011 to the Broncos defense and Miller will bring home the DRY award.
Comeback Player of the Year
Minnesota Vikings QB Donovan McNabb- After an awful year of football with the Redskins, I think it is time for this future Hall of Famer to get back to ballin' like he is used to. McNabb will go to a coaching staff and a system that he knows and will also have a balanced offense with Adrian Peterson in the backfield. I think Leslie Frazier will help revitalize McNabb's career and by the time his career is up, I expect to see a Super Bowl ring on McNabb's finger. For now, though, I expect McNabb to be the comeback player of the year.
