Just like a pendulum that goes from one side to the other, so will politics
America has gone too far to the right…alarmingly too far and destructive; what all these Republicans and Teabaggers have accomplished is to turn off the majority of the American people who are somewhere in the middle.
When the Republicans use so much vitriol, tell so many lies, display so much ignorance and prescribe a very askew solution…one that would change the face of America and what it has always stood for…Freedom, Democracy and the pursuit of happiness…then it is one America nobody would want to live in…and the great majority that lies in the middle are taking notice.
Now that they are blackmailing our President and taking the people of America hostage over some routine debt ceiling issue; it is clear that they would even risk the destruction of our country in order to gain more power.
Never mind that the Republicans have a dismal record when it comes to govern, when it deals with unemployment and the creation of jobs…even if they try to distort the truth, to bend reality, to misinform the public…they can’t change the facts. History is written by the winners and the Republicans are going to end up the losers in this ideological , cultural and class warfare because they are setting themselves up against the majority of the American people.
It matters not that they will try to change history to reflect a more benign legacy…because of all the harm they are doing to America and her people, it is history that is going to change Republicans.
