Cheryle Rudd, center, and Kitty Lambert were married by Mayor Paul A. Dyster in Niagara Falls, N.Y., at midnight on Sunday.

Surely, this will be the day that will trump all others in the number of marriages, most of which will be same sex couples.

I can’t wait to see the figures…somebody in New York must be keeping track of how many people actually entered into the institution of marriage…one that had been denied out of homophobia and stupidity…like it is still being denied in other states, including where I live.

If somebody finds out the number of people who got married today, please let us all know…we are very interested.
