All the good news that came out of the labor front this week just got halted. Wednesday was supposed to be the day that the players voted on a new CBA, but instead the vote will have to wait. According to a source, part of the reason the players did not vote was that there was no final document to review. The source also said that the players could vote Thursday, which is the same day of the owners meetings in Atlanta. Despite the players not voting, the NFL Executive Vice President of the NFL Jeff Pash said the owners will vote on a new CBA even if the players don't on Thursday. If the vote is passed, then what would follow would be a briefing for the owners on the new CBA (for example rules in free agency). We should all know by early tomorrow if the owners voted yes or no on the CBA. The big question is whether the players jump on board.
