After 11 seasons with the Seahawks, Matt Hasselbeck will not re-sign with them. Instead, he will head to Tennessee to mentor rookie QB Jake Locker since he and Hasselbeck are already friends. Even though it won't be official until Friday, this seems like a good fit for the Titans. For the first time in their franchise history the Titans won't have head coach Jeff Fisher on the sidelines. Mike Munchak was the offensive coordinator last year and has been promoted, while the organization decided to go in a different direction at QB then Vince Young. That is when the team drafted Locker eighth overall in this years draft, but he did only have a 50% completion percentage at Washington last year. So I think this signing will be good for both the Titans and the rookie QB. Hopefully for Tennessee fans it will be a return to respectability. As for the Seahawks, they have signed Tarvaris Jackson to compete with Charlie Whitehurst for the starting QB job.
