The top playmakers in the NFL today...

10. Miles Austin- One of the best undrafted players in the NFL, Austin has become one of the best weapons in the game. Austin has been with the Cowboys for five years and has 168 receptions for 2,815 yards and 22 touchdowns. Austin continued the success he has had last season when he made his second straight Pro Bowl by recording 69 catches for 1041 yards and seven touchdowns despite having starting QB Tony Romo on the Injured Reserve list.

9. Sidney Rice- Despite the Vikings having one of the most disappointing 2010 seasons then any other team, Rice had another terrific season. In his four career, Rice has had 146 receptions for 2,129 yards and 18 touchdowns. Due to a injury Rice suffered in the NFC Championship Game, he missed 11 games but still managed to play pretty well recording 17 receptions for 280 yards and two touchdowns. Rice is on this list because of his 2009 season where he had 83 receptions for 1,312 yards and eight touchdowns while appearing in his own Pro Bowl. Rice is also one of the hottest WR's on the market once the lockout ends.

8. Vincent Jackson- Even though he might not be a Charger for much longer, Jackson is one of the coolest receivers in the NFL. Jackson has been in the NFL for six years and has 212 receptions for 3,648 yards and 28 touchdowns. Due to a lengthy holdout and a three game suspension last season, Jackson didn't really get to show off his talent on the field. Even though Jackson did only play the last five games of the season, he had 14 receptions for 248 yards and three touchdowns. Before the lockout the Chargers placed the franchise tag on Jackson, but to many teams he could be worth a first round pick.

7. Wes Welker- The smallest player on our list, Welker has gone from a unknown undrafted free agent to one of the most explosive receivers in the NFL. In Welker's seven year career, he has 528 receptions for 5,657 yards and 23 touchdowns. Last season Welker helped the Patriots to the best record in the NFL and Tom Brady to a MVP award. Individually, Welker made his third straight Pro Bowl by having 86 receptions for 848 yards and seven touchdowns despite starting the season Physically Unable to Preform list. One of the most respectable players in the league, Welker is also one of the top players in the league today.

6. Roddy White- He might of had one of the worst set of hands in the NFL at the beginning of his career, but White has become a nice weapon for franchise QB Matt Ryan. In White's six year career he has had 430 receptions for 6,078 yards and 37 touchdowns. Last season White made his third straight Pro Bowl by leading the NFL in catches with 115 and the NFC in receiving yards with 1,389 (was a single season franchise record). White is no doubt a top ten receiver and if he keeps this success up, he will wind up at Canton.

5. DeSean Jackson- One of Mike Vick's featured weapons from a season ago, Jackson has become a premier WR in the NFL. Jackson has been a two time Pro Bowl selection and a one time All-Pro selection in his four year career. In 2010, Jackson had one of his best years in Philly with 47 receptions for 1,056 yards and six touchdowns. Jackson helped the Eagles complete a miraculous comeback against the rival New York Giants by achieving the first ever walk off punt return in NFL history. Jackson is no doubt a great WR and a great athlete.

4. Reggie Wayne- Having a great QB like Peyton Manning doesn't hurt, but Wayne is still a great receiver nevertheless. Wayne has been to five Pro Bowls and has been a three time All-Pro selection in his ten year career. Last season, despite the Colts major injuries, Wayne had 111 receptions for 1,355 yards and six touchdowns on his way to his fifth straight trip to Hawaii. The Colts championship window might be closing, but as long as they have Wayne, it will stay open.

3. Calvin Johnson- The man called Megatron might be a bigger hit then the Transformer that he is named after. The Lions might of had trouble at QB with Matthew Stafford missing much of the season, but Johnson still had a great season. He had 77 receptions for 1,120 yards and 12 touchdowns on his way to his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections. The Lions are a team that are on a rise in 2011 and it starts and ends with Johnson.

2. Larry Fitzgerald- While many WR's have been compared to Jerry Rice, none of them come closer then Fitzgerald. In his seven year career, Fizgerald has been a five time Pro Bowl selection and a two time first team All-Pro selection. Despite the Cardinals playing musical chairs at QB last season, Fitzgerald was able to have another Pro Bowl season with 90 receptions for 1,137 yards and six touchdowns. Surprisingly, 2010 was an off year for Fitzgerald, while for most WR's it would be a great one.

1. Andre Johnson- Despite being a quiet player, Johnson makes other noises while on the football field. Johnson has been a five time Pro Bowl selection and a three time first team All-Pro selection in his eight year career with the Texans. Houston might of been a disappointment last season, but Johnson wasn't catching 86 balls for 1,216 and eight touchdowns on his way to a third straight Pro Bowl. The Texans are no doubt an explosive offense and as long as Johnson's around it will stay like that.
