For the rich and the corporations…the sky is the limit
We are all indignant about this insistence in giving tax cuts to the wealthy…extending the Bush tax cuts was bad enough because Republicans held the President hostage and tied it to unemployment benefit extension. Now they are even more adamant and emboldened…the Republicans put out a budget reduction plan (Ryan Plan) that not only would be catastrophic for the economy; it would also decimate the already beleaguered middle class.
Instead of cooperating with the President in order to at least make an attempt to fix the mess Bush and Republicans left behind…all they have done is block, delay and sabotage any efforts to help America recover from a very hefty recession. You would think that putting the credit of the US and perhaps create a world-wide economic crisis if we don’t make good on our debt commitments…would scare the shit out of them, but they are willing to risk that and sink our country into the depths of poverty and ruin…as long as they don’t have the power to govern, they don’t give a shit. How patriotic of them, right?
