Here are the top Running Backs for the upcoming season...

10. LeSean McCoy- Apart of one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL, McCoy just proves that youth is a good thing. McCoy was drafted in 2009 and has since rushed for 1,717 yards and 11 touchdowns. McCoy also set the record for most rushing yards by a rookie with 606. Last season McCoy became the starting running back and has filled in nicely for Philly, even if Andy Reid doesn't like to run that much.

9. Darren McFadden- Up until last season, McFadden was considered a bust (much like Jamarcus Russell) among many Raiders fans at the beginning of his career. McFadden has been considered to be one of the best fantasy players as he has racked up 2,013 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in his career. Last season McFadden had his most successful season with ten touchdowns and was definitely snubbed when it came to the Pro Bowl.

8. Arian Foster- Considered to be the fantasy player of the year, Foster adds a great dynamic to the Texans explosive offense. Foster went undrafted in 2009 and has since rushed for 1,873 yards and 19 touchdowns. In 2010 on his way to a Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection, Foster had a unbelievable season. It started on opening day against the Colts where he rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns. On top of setting the record for most rushing yards by a Texan, Foster had the second best opening day a running back has ever had. While his numbers are great, I'm afraid this guy could be a one-hit-wonder.

7. Jamaal Charles- The Chiefs run to the playoffs in 2010 was because of an infusion of youth and Charles provided a major part of their success. Charles rushed for 1,467 yards and five touchdowns and it was by far his best season as he was voted to the Pro Bowl. All together in his career Charles has ran for 2,944 yards and 12 touchdowns. Also in 2010, Charles averaged 6.38 yards a carry which was only second to Hall of Famer Jim Brown.

6. Ray Rice- Throughout the Ravens history they have been known for a great defense and solid running game. Rice fits the mold in Baltimore. In Rice's three year career with the Ravens, he has ran for 3,013 yards and 12 touchdowns. Rice's most successful season came in 2009 when he made the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career as he rushed for 1,339 yards and seven touchdown. Last season, Rice became the first Ravens running back in history to catch a touchdown in a playoff game. With Rice around, I think James Harrison should be hesitant on his comments about the Ravens not winning a Super Bowl.

5. Maurice Jones Drew- Standing at only 5'7, Drew is the biggest small guy in the NFL. Drew undoubtedly is one of the toughest players in the league, just ask Shawne Merriman. In his five year career with Jacksonville, Drew has recorded 5,248 yards and 54 touchdowns. Last season Drew played the entire season with a injured knee while making the Pro Bowl and also making first team All-Pro. Drew might be small, but he is one of the most premier RB's in the NFL and the only one that runs his own fantasy football radio program.

4. Frank Gore- The 49ers have one of the worst QB situations in the NFL. The only reason there offense stays afloat is Gore. This former Hurricane has 6,414 yards and 35 touchdowns under his belt so far in his six year career with the 49ers. In 2010 Gore was put on the IR after a injury he suffered in a week 12 matchup against the Cardinals. Gore set the 49ers record for most consecutive 1,000 yard seasons with three and will definitely be a main part of Jim Harbaugh's new offense in the Bay Area.

3. Steven Jackson- Another RB that has had a bad QB situation, Jackson has carried on the tradition of great running backs for the Rams. So far in Jackson's seven year career he has piled up 7,948 yards and 47 touchdowns. Last season the Rams QB situation improved when they drafted Sam Bradford from Oklahoma and Jackson set an incredible feat. He passed Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson on the franchise all time rushing list and also recorded his 10,000th yard against the Falcons. If the Rams could get some help at WR, then this could be the Greatest Show on Turf II.

2. Chris Johnson- The fastest player in the league, CJ2K has become one of the most explosive RB's in the league. While Johnson has only been in the NFL for three seasons, he has managed to rack up 4,598 yards and 34 touchdowns. Coming off a 2009 season where he rushed more then 2,000 yards, Johnson had a disappointing 2010 campaign (especially to many fantasy owners). Nevertheless, Johnson managed to make the Pro Bowl while gaining 1,364 yards and rushing for 11 touchdowns.

1. Adrian Peterson- Many of these RB's on this list have unstable QB situations and the fact they still put up 1,000 yard seasons against eight man fronts is amazing. Peterson is no stranger to this phenomenon. He has played with QB's that are up and down during a season for four years and has still been able to record 5,782 rushing yards and 52 touchdowns. In 2010, which was another Brett Favre soap opera season, Peterson got selected to his fourth straight Pro Bowl. For those who say that Peterson has to many fumbling problems, he had only one during the regular season.
